Besides going on our summer Tour, our summer and winter camps are some of the most favorite activities for our boys. So much more happens there besides awesome music making! Friendships are forged, relationships are strengthened and memories are made.
At the end of each camping experience, the boys are asked to fill out an evaluation form telling us how their experience was and how we can improve on it the next time. They readily share their favorite things and things they wish might be different.
It was at the end of a week long summer camp, when a boy who was getting close to ‘voicing out’ commented that the acronym FBBC stood for not just the name of our organization . . . rather it could stand for, “Forever Boys Become Changed”.
He went on to say how being in the choir had literally changed his entire life for the good and that he would never forget his three years being in the choir.
There are a lot of things these days that are changing our boy’s lives . . . but not for the good. They face a daily world full of things no child should ever have to deal or cope with.
The Fort Bend Boys Choir offers boys hope for the hopeless; joy for those who have lost theirs and ways to make beautiful music that will transform not only their lives . . . but many hundreds of other lives too, who hear and see them in concert.
Yes – The Fort Bend Boys Choir of Texas . . . making a difference on boy at a time (and a place) where forever boys become changed!
