New England Tour 2004

We landed in New England with our own Mayflower.
Who's going down with the ship?

That night we took a guided night tour through historic Plymouth.

Everyone got their own hand-made pierced lantern

A school concert really excited the kids in the audience.
Don't let these innocent looks fool you... they're BOYS!

We got to ride this great catamaran ferry across the bay back to Boston.

I'm the King of the World!
OK, hot shot, give someone else a turn.

"A lobstering we will go, a lobstering we will go.  Hi-ho the merryo, a lobstering we will go."

"OK, I've got it.  Now what do I do with it."

"Hey, Mom.  Can I keep it?"

We checked out a wax museum about historical
Plymouth, but those guys were a bunch of stiffs.

Yes, we had lobster.  No, not this one.

Once again, the cry was heard,
"The Red Coats are coming!"

A wonderful concert for the Plymouth Rotary Club...

... and once again, someone gets "Dreamed."

Just as we've always suspected,
choirboys are really aliens.

From lobsters to ducks, we rode this one with our driver/guide, PJ, in Beantown.

After a warmly received concert service...

... we warmly received a luncheon reception.

The chaperones EARLY in the tour.
Notice how fresh and happy they look... now.

The gang on the Freedom Trail in Boston.

A light drizzle couldn't dampen our spirits for the
all-the-ice-cream-you-can-eat "Scooper Bowl."

Some boys REALLY took "all-you-can-eat" seriously.

We had a fun day at Sturbridge Village,
a re-creation of life in the 1830s.
Here, the boys play "hoops" 19th century style.

And had some great lasagne and treat for our "birthday boys" Stephen and Chris.

We joined with the children's choir at St. Francis by the Sea church...

... and greeted our audience afterwards.

What a time we had on our mountain bike ride!
Look at him having fun, the one
in the red jacket and helmet.

Here we are in front of the most photographed lighthouse in America.  Add one more.

After the chaperone ladies made a great
impromptu lunch...

...we had picnic on a beautiful Maine afternoon.

We were the featured attraction at a historic theater in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Singing the National Anthem with the Boys Choir of Maine at a SeaDogs game was great fun.

After that, we met for a mixed game of kickball.

And they hosted us for our final concert of the tour and the 2003-2004 season.

It was a great year.
