On August 13, 2005 we were privileged to sing our National Anthem
at the
home opener for the Houston Texans football team at Reliant Stadium. |

It's a good thing there's a lot of us, because one lonely red shirt
would get lost down there. |

Here we are, bigger than life. |

"Look, Mr. A., here's proof I
form my vowels perfectly." |

Afterwards, they treated us to seats to see the game. Our part
may have been a winner, but alas the Texans lost. |

DEFINITELY back row material. |

Sometimes it's really tough being a choirboy. |

No Christmas is complete without the Fort Bend Boys Choir.
Here, we kick off the season at the official lighting of the City of
Sugar Land's (our hometown) Christmas Tree Lighting. |

Four Tour Choir boys up front and three in the back displaying our
new seasonal uniform. |
|
On March 4, 2006 our annual Auction and Gala was held at the Safari
Club in Sugar Land, Texas. While the primary goal is fund
raising, we also do a lot of "fun-raising" as people from
the choir's past get together to reminisce with old friends, make
new ones and support the boys. |
|

Our annual Auction and Gala was a huge success and a great evening
of music, fun, food and great buys. |

Approaching our 25th year, we continue to "Dream." |

What fun it was to sing at the Gala with our hometown (Sugar Land,
TX) mayor, His Honor, Mayor David Wallace.
|
It takes a lot of willing hands to pull off this event. Six of
those belong to Jeanine Hillis (Volunteer of the Year and Auction
Co-chair), Shellie Hannes (FBBC Board President),
and Maureen Coleman (Board
Member and Auction Co-Chair). |

Spring Concert - 2006 |

One of the best things about our two major concerts is getting to
see old and new choir friends and parents. But of course, the
music's the thing. Here, the Tour Choir performs. |

The grand finale is getting to hear all three performing choirs
plus the alumni choir together. You know, when you get 'em all
up there at the same time... that's a mess o' boys! |
|
On September 14 - 17, 2006, the
Tour Choir was privileged to perform Transmigration of Souls
with the Houston Symphony and Chorus. The piece was written in
remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11,
2001 and their families. The boys performed beautifully and
won acclaim and admiration from the Houston Symphony's conductor and
members and from the local press. |
