The Fort Bend Boys Choir of Texas, Inc. values and respects all individuals, businesses and other organizations that have graciously donated time, money and/or resources in support of our organization. Because we do gather personal information from supporters such as name, address, e-mail address and/or phone number, we want you to fully understand how we use this information.
Our website does have online forms to fill out for audition requests, hiring the choir and general contact information. However, we do not track user traffic patterns, IP addresses or cookies. Because sensitive information can easily be obtained online, we want to eliminate as many means as possible to protect the privacy of our supporters. Our only way of gathering personal data is if you make inquiries or provide monetary or in-kind support through written correspondence, US mail, telephone or in person.
The Fort Bend Boys Choir does use personal information for internal purposes only. We do not share this information with anyone outside the organization nor do we sell information to third parties. When you make a monetary or in-kind donation, we will add your name and personal information to our computer database. This database is not networked with any other computer system and only authorized personnel has access. We also take every precaution in the form of anti-virus software and multi-trackware detection and removal utility software. Any database backups or paper copies of personal information are stored in a secure location.
Unless you specifically request anonymity, we do express our thanks to donors and other supporters through our biannual newsletter as well as our Spring and Christmas printed concert programs, Gala fundraiser program and occasionally the media. The only information shared during these instances is your name. We do send out newsletters twice a year and any information we feel our supporters might find interesting. You will have to notify us of your wishes to be listed as “Anonymous” and/or be excluded from all mailings and/or public acknowledgement as explained above.
